Located in South San Francisco, the El Camino High School Jazz Band is back from their performance at the Essentially Ellington Regional Jazz Festival and performing at Ghirardelli Square. Jazz clarinetist Victor Goines praised the high quality of musicianship and the jazz bands' "swingin" performance! The ECHS Jazz Band strives to preserve the authenticity of the early jazz era and swing, and at the same time explore the music of today's great jazz composers and arrangers like John Daversa and Radiohead. Students Dion Cagape, Karen Kitchen, Donald Tang, and Matteo Woo will all be featured soloists.
