Cellar360's Efforts

The wines in the Cellar360 wine portfolio are produced by wineries with an unwavering commitment to protecting the environment and conserving natural resources. Embracing sustainable farming, energy efficiency, and conscientious winemaking, their efforts include:

Substituting biodiesel for part of the diesel mix in viticultural operations 100% certification of the Napa and Sonoma wineries by the Fish Friendly Farming (FFF) program, a program that looks to manage the impacts of soil erosion and pesticide use on the Napa River watershed and fish population through sustainable farming practices. Recycling grape pomace (sediment composed of grape seeds, skins and other natural bi-products of fermentation) into compost that in turn fertilizes for the vineyards. Piloting a wildlife corridor project at the Meridian vineyards that provides local wildlife, including deer, bobcat, coyote and badgers, with access to the native vegetation of the Arroyo’s oak woodland ecosystem.
